Some towns have received nearly ten inches of rain between Saturday afternoon and last night. It's almost stopped at this point but the flooding is very severe in some spots in Eastern Mass. We don't have a problem here at the house but about 3/4 miles away there's a street that's totally under water. I guess the Governor has just declared a state of emergency for Mass. Downtown Peabody is totally under water. Yet another house on Plum Island is about to slide into the ocean. Major roadways (this stretch of Route One) have been closed. What a mess! ![]() | ||
